The old town of La Orotava is full of historic monuments and unique architectural examples of the island's rich history, like the Casa de los Balcones.
Los Gigantes is a small holiday resort in the western part of Tenerife. It lies in a scenic bay below a 500-800 metres high line of cliffs - which are its name giver. There are lots of dolphins and whales at Los Gigantes, so there's a pretty high chance if you visit this calm and picturesque little town that you'll meet some of them. Los Gigantes has a beautiful and silent atmosphere. If you'd like to get away from the noise of the big cities take some rest it's one of the most peaceful places to go.
